Description
This method consists in automatically changing b, for example, as b, 2*b, 4*b, 8*b, etc., where b is the initial value with control at each ith stage of the condition (shown in the second figure). When this condition is met, the calculations stop. Here, improper integrals of the form 4.30 (see the third figure) are calculated by the Gauss method.
The program calculates the integral of the equation f=x*exp(-x), but this equation can be changed.
